The Pink Ribbon 5K Run/Walk is sponsored by Sisters by Choice (SBC) and is held annually at Piedmont Park in July. The 5K Walk/Run was started in 2005 and has grown tremendously over the past 15 years. All proceeds from the race go towards the operational costs of Sisters By Choice’s Mobile Breast Clinic. Our mobile breast clinic travels throughout the state of Georgia to help medically undeserved men and women gain access to quality breast care.

The Pink Ribbon 5K Run/Walk is a USATF Certified Course and is a 2020 AJC Peachtree Road Race Qualifier

The first 100 people to cross the finish line will receive a medal!

INFORMATION FOR DAY OF RACE

Please enter Piedmont Park at the Charles Allen Drive entrance and make your way to the registration tents.

  • T-shirts will be given out at the completion of the walk. 
  • ONLY 1 T-shirt will be given out per paid and PRESENT walker. 
  • MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE YOUR T-SHIRT.

We highly recommend taking MARTA for the Walk.

From the MIDTOWN STATION

Take 10th Street towards Peachtree street and continue on 10th until you reach Piedmont Ave. Turn left on to Piedmont Avenue and walk two blocks to the 12th and 14th Street gates of Piedmont Park; or you can continue walking on 10th street entry and the park will soon be on your left side.

From the ARTS CENTER STATION

Head south on West Peachtree street for one block; turn left onto 14th street for three blocks until you reach the 14th Street entrance to the Park; cross the park to the 10th street gate entrance.
Parking is available in the Sage parking facility, Colony Square garage, and a private parking lot at the corner of Juniper and 10th street. Parking fees vary starting from $ 0.75/first 16-30 minutes then $1.00 for ea. additional 30 minutes up to $15 for Sage to a flat rate of $11 and $5, respectively. Parking on the streets surrounding the park is limited—please observe posted parking signs. SBC is not responsible for parking violations, tickets, or towing charges.
Note: there is a height limit on large trucks at Colony Square.

PLEASE NOTE:The Pink Ribbon 5K Run/Walk does not get cancelled due to rain.

If the need for a cancellation arises due to inclement weather ( lightening, tornado, flashfloods) please be reminded that Sisters by Choice reserves the right to cancel the 5K Pink Ribbon Run/Walk for the safety of participants, volunteers, police and medical personnel. Participants will be informed of such a change via announcements on race morning. Information will also be available on our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter pages, and also by email. NOTE: No refunds are given if race is cancelled. All proceeds benefit the Sisters by Choice’s Mobile Breast Clinic.
